Location: Lake Mary, Florida
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days remote)
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Claims Coordinator to join our growing claims team in Lake Mary, Florida. This hybrid role is responsible for supporting the claims process from initial intake through claim setup and assignment while delivering excellent service to policyholders, agents, and internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional under pressure, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced insurance environment. This position also offers the opportunity to contribute to ongoing enhancements and efficiencies within our claims management systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Answer and manage incoming First Notice of Loss (FNOL) calls and communications
Accurately intake new claims and gather required documentation and information
Assist with claim setup, file creation, and assignment to adjusters
Ensure claims are entered timely and accurately within the claims management system
Communicate professionally with insureds, agents, vendors, and internal teams
Monitor claim workflows and assist with administrative claim support as needed
Support claims process improvements and system enhancement initiatives
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer experience
Maintain confidentiality and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
1–3 years of insurance, claims, administrative, customer service, or related experience preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn claims management systems quickly
Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong problem-solving skills
Experience handling FNOL or claims intake is a plus
